How To Escape From The Circle

Howoon Group is one of Asia’s largest illicit arms and drugs trafficking organisations, operating under the guise of a food company. Cheran, the group’s true heir, suddenly went missing two years ago. Her husband, Kangwoo, who had been keeping her disappearance a secret, is finally forced to reveal the truth to his father—the chairman of Howoon Group—as the launch date for a new medicine draws near. As Cheran was the only person in the group capable of perfectly replicating the drug’s formula, her disappearance threatened to cause enormous financial losses to the company; consequently, Kangwoo sets out—albeit belatedly—to track her down. Before long, Kangwoo receives information that Cheran is living in a flat in Setagaya Ward, Tokyo, Japan. However, upon arriving there, Cheran, whom he had been desperately searching for, had already vanished; instead, he comes face to face with a man named Dohwa, who claims to have been Cheran’s housekeeper. The precarious love story of these two men, which began with the strange shared purpose of having to meet a certain woman, unfolded one sweltering summer’s day in the rain.
