Sewer Rats

Sim Hyeongnam, a former maid at a grand mansion in Pyeongchangdong, lived as a plaything for the mansion's owner, Chairman Park Shineok. Following a certain incident, she abruptly finds herself in an uneasy cohabitation with Choi Eunhyeong, Shineok's righthand man. Unfunny jokes and vulgar habits. To Hyeongnam, Eunhyeong was nothing more than a thug she despised. That day was no different. Amidst the lowclass, crude jokes typical of thugs, Hyeongnam halflost her mind and slashed her wrist. However, she was caught by a furious Choi Eunhyeong, subjected to a torrent of curses, and had her life saved. Eunhyeong tended to her wounds, forced her to drink until she collapsed, and even took her to Namsan to buy her pork cutlets. He cut the meat for her while fuming with anger the entire time. "Even bastards worse off than you are living. They cling to life tooth and nail." Why on earth is this man so angry? As if I had done something unforgivable.
