Sweet Poison

"I acknowledge every detail of my crime, and I have no regrets about my actions." Two years ago, a fire engulfed the New Dawn Home for Children, leaving behind a single survivor—a child bearing scars of unspeakable abuse. Despite the damning evidence, the court sided with the abuser, a wealthy heir named Lee Ikjoong. Unable to save the child, Dr. Han Jaeyoung was left with no choice but to watch him return to a life of torment. But when Jaeyoung stabs Ikjoong to death, he feels no remorse. With the help of his mentor, Dr. Choi Taekyung, Jaeyoung escapes conviction under a plea of self-defense. Resigned to leaving his medical career behind, his plans change when the charismatic CEO Jae Woojin offers him a position at Seonggyeol Hospital. "If you come work for me, those kinds of people won't be able to harm you so easily because I take care of my people." Though reluctant at first, Jaeyoung finds himself drawn to Woojin’s relentless persuasion. Finally succumbing, he steps into Seonggyeol Hospital—a decision that will entangle him in a web of temptation, power, and justice. (Source: Lezhin US)
